Summary
Flatulator is a general-audience humor calculator app for users who enjoy cartoon-style humor, calculator tools, sounds, themes, graphing tools, time tools, and optional premium features.
In the current release:
- Flatulator does not require a user account.
- Flatulator does not provide a login system.
- Flatulator does not operate a backend account server for app user data.
- Calculator history, graph equations, graph state, preferences, sound settings, theme settings, animation settings, and other normal app settings are stored locally on your device.
- Local calculator history, graph equations, graph state, and app preferences are not sent to Flatulator servers.
- Flatulator does not use advertising SDKs, third-party ad networks, data broker SDKs, behavioral tracking SDKs, or cross-app advertising tracking.
- Flatulator does not request access to your location, contacts, camera, microphone, SMS, call logs, health data, calendar, Bluetooth/nearby devices, or advertising ID in the current release.
- Optional Flatulator Pro purchases are processed through Apple, Google Play, and RevenueCat.
- Purchase-related data may be processed by Apple, Google Play, and RevenueCat to provide purchase functionality, entitlement verification, restore purchases, subscription management, fraud prevention, diagnostics, and support.
- Purchase-related data may include purchase history and related transaction information. Flatulator does not receive or store your full payment card number.
- Flatulator does not sell personal information.
- Flatulator does not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising or cross-app behavioral advertising in the current release.
- Flatulator does not use cookies for advertising, retargeting, cross-site behavioral tracking, or Flatulator-operated analytics in the current release.
- Cloudflare or similar website infrastructure providers may use strictly necessary cookies, tokens, logs, or similar technologies to deliver and protect the website.
Information Stored Locally on Your Device
Flatulator stores certain information locally on your device so the app works as expected. Local app data may include:
- calculator history and recent calculations;
- graph equations, graph state, graph settings, export preferences, and active graph data;
- theme settings, sound settings, volume settings, vibration or haptic settings, quiet mode, reduced motion, sound mode, and animation quality preferences;
- calculator mode settings, menu state, and other app preferences; and
- basic app state needed for calculators, graphing tools, time tools, themes, sounds, and menus to function.
This local app data is stored on your device. In the current release, Flatulator does not send calculator history, graph equations, graph state, or normal app preferences to Flatulator servers.
You can delete local app data by using any clear-history or reset controls available in the app, by changing applicable settings, or by deleting the app from your device. Your device operating system may also provide app-data deletion, backup, restore, and storage controls. Depending on your device settings, your operating system or device-account provider may back up app data independently of Flatulator.
Purchases and Flatulator Pro
Flatulator Pro is an optional upgrade. Purchases, subscriptions, renewals, cancellations, restore purchases, and subscription management are handled through Apple, Google Play, and RevenueCat.
Purchase-related data may be processed to:
- load available product offerings;
- process purchase results;
- verify purchases;
- determine whether a Flatulator Pro entitlement is active;
- restore purchases;
- manage subscriptions;
- prevent fraud, abuse, or unauthorized entitlement use;
- troubleshoot purchase problems;
- provide customer support for purchase-related issues;
- maintain purchase-related diagnostics; and
- comply with legal, tax, accounting, refund, dispute, and app store obligations.
Purchase-related data may include product identifiers, purchase history, purchase state, subscription status, entitlement status, expiration or renewal status, restore state, transaction metadata, platform or store information, app version, device or platform information, anonymous RevenueCat App User ID, and diagnostic information needed for purchase validation and support.
Payment card numbers and full payment credentials are processed by Apple or Google Play. Flatulator does not receive or store your full payment card number.
Because Flatulator Pro purchase functionality uses Apple, Google Play, and RevenueCat, purchase-related information may need to be disclosed in applicable app store privacy, purchase, or data safety forms. This does not mean Flatulator sells purchase information or uses purchase information for advertising tracking.
You can manage subscriptions through your Apple App Store or Google Play subscription settings.
RevenueCat and Anonymous App User IDs
Flatulator uses RevenueCat to support optional Flatulator Pro purchase functionality. In the current release, Flatulator uses RevenueCat with anonymous App User IDs.
An anonymous App User ID is used to help RevenueCat associate purchase and entitlement records with an app installation or purchase state. It is not a Flatulator account login, and Flatulator does not require you to create a Flatulator account to use the app.
Anonymous App User IDs and transaction metadata may still be considered personal information or personal data under some privacy laws. For that reason, this policy does not describe purchase processing as “fully anonymous.”
RevenueCat may process purchase-related data as a service provider or processor for purchase functionality, entitlement verification, restore behavior, purchase diagnostics, fraud prevention, support, and purchase-related dashboard reporting.
In the current release, Flatulator does not provide RevenueCat with user names, email addresses, phone numbers, contacts, precise location, advertising IDs, or Flatulator account IDs.
RevenueCat public SDK or API keys may be included in the app as required for client-side purchase functionality. Flatulator does not include RevenueCat secret API keys, private store credentials, full payment credentials, or store account passwords in the app.
Graph Export and Sharing
If you export a graph, Flatulator creates an image file of the graph you choose to export.
Graph export is user-controlled. A graph image is shared or saved only when you choose to use an export, share, or save feature.
On Android, Flatulator may use temporary files, app cache, Android FileProvider, the Android share sheet, the document picker, or system save tools to let you share or save the graph image.
If you share a graph image with another app, save it to a location you select, or upload it through a third-party service, that destination app, storage provider, device feature, or service may process the file according to its own privacy policy and settings.
Flatulator does not collect graph images on Flatulator servers in the current release.
Permissions and Device Access
The current mobile app release is designed to avoid sensitive device permissions.
In the current release:
- billing or in-app purchase permissions may be used for Apple or Google Play purchases;
- internet or network access may be used for RevenueCat, Apple, and Google Play purchase functionality, including loading offerings, verifying purchases, restoring purchases, managing subscriptions, purchase diagnostics, and related security or fraud-prevention functions;
- Android file-provider, document-picker, app-cache, share-sheet, and system save behavior may be used for graph export, share, or save features;
- audio playback is used for built-in app sound effects;
- the microphone is not used;
- vibration or haptic feedback may be used for user feedback if enabled;
- vibration or haptic feedback is not used to collect data; and
- Flatulator does not request location, contacts, camera, microphone, SMS, call logs, health data, calendar, Bluetooth/nearby devices, or advertising ID access in the current release.
Support and Privacy Emails
If you email Flatulator for support, privacy, legal, bug-report, refund-support, or similar requests, we receive the email address you used and the message contents you choose to send.
Privacy questions and privacy rights requests should be sent to inquires@flatulator.com. Support questions should be sent to inquires@flatulator.com.
We use support and privacy emails to:
- respond to your request;
- troubleshoot issues;
- provide support;
- handle privacy or legal requests;
- maintain necessary business records;
- prevent abuse; and
- protect rights, safety, and security.
Do not send sensitive personal information unless it is necessary for your request.
Support and privacy emails are retained only as long as reasonably necessary to respond to the request, maintain business records, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, comply with law, and protect rights and security, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.
Website Privacy and Cloudflare Hosting/Security
The Flatulator website at flatulator.com is a static informational website. It is used to provide information about Flatulator and to host this Privacy Policy.
In the current release, the website does not provide:
- user accounts;
- a login system;
- an app backend;
- a contact form;
- a payment form;
- user-generated content;
- cookies set by Flatulator for analytics or advertising;
- analytics tools;
- ad pixels;
- retargeting pixels;
- behavioral tracking;
- third-party advertising scripts; or
- data broker scripts.
The website is hosted, protected, or delivered using Cloudflare and related website infrastructure services. Cloudflare and similar hosting, DNS, security, or content-delivery providers may process limited technical information, such as IP address, browser or device information, request metadata, traffic-routing data, security logs, and network event data. This processing is used to deliver the website, maintain reliability, secure the website, prevent abuse, and protect the network.
Flatulator does not use Cloudflare website infrastructure data for behavioral advertising or cross-site advertising tracking.
Cloudflare or similar website infrastructure providers may use strictly necessary cookies, tokens, logs, or similar technologies to provide security, abuse prevention, bot detection, traffic routing, rate limiting, reliability, and content-delivery functions. These technologies are used to operate and protect the website and are not used by Flatulator for behavioral advertising.
Flatulator does not use cookies for advertising, retargeting, cross-site behavioral tracking, or Flatulator-operated analytics in the current release.

Flatulator does not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising or cross-app behavioral advertising in the current release.
Flatulator may share or allow processing of information as follows:
- Apple and Google Play: to process purchases, subscriptions, renewals, cancellations, refunds, restore purchases, payment-related records, and subscription management.
- RevenueCat: to load offerings, verify purchases, manage entitlements, restore purchases, prevent fraud or abuse, troubleshoot purchase issues, provide purchase-related diagnostics, and support Flatulator Pro functionality.

Retention and Deletion
Local calculator history, graph equations, graph state, settings, and preferences remain on your device until you clear them, change them, reset them, or delete the app. Deleting the app generally removes local app data from the device according to the operating system’s app-deletion behavior.
Temporary graph export files may be stored in app cache or temporary storage and may be removed by the app or by operating system cache-cleanup behavior.
Deleting the app does not delete purchase, subscription, billing, refund, dispute, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, or legal records retained by Apple, Google Play, RevenueCat, payment systems, or other service providers.
Apple, Google Play, RevenueCat, and payment systems may retain purchase and subscription records as required for purchase verification, restore behavior, billing, tax, accounting, fraud prevention, dispute handling, refund processing, and legal compliance.
Support and privacy emails are retained only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.
To request privacy assistance, contact inquires@flatulator.com. You may also need to use Apple App Store, Google Play, device-account, or operating-system controls for purchase records, subscriptions, backups, and device-level data.
Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have privacy rights under applicable laws. These may include the right to request:
- access to personal information;
- correction of inaccurate personal information;
- deletion of personal information;
- portability of personal information;
- restriction of processing;
- objection to processing;
- withdrawal of consent where processing is based on consent;
- information about how personal information is used, disclosed, sold, or shared; and
- non-discrimination for exercising applicable privacy rights.
Flatulator does not sell personal information and does not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising or cross-app behavioral advertising in the current release.
To exercise a privacy right, contact inquires@flatulator.com. We may need enough information to verify and process your request. Depending on the request, we may direct you to Apple, Google Play, RevenueCat, your device settings, or your device-account provider when the information is controlled by those services rather than by Flatulator.
Some information may not be deleted directly by Flatulator if it is retained by Apple, Google Play, RevenueCat, payment processors, tax/accounting systems, or other service providers for purchase verification, restore behavior, billing, tax, accounting, refund, dispute, fraud-prevention, security, or legal compliance purposes.
For users in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or Switzerland, Ryan Ragan is the controller for personal data processed by Flatulator where applicable. Where applicable, you may also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate for a small consumer app.
No method of transmission, processing, or storage is perfectly secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
Flatulator does not include RevenueCat secret API keys, private store credentials, full payment credentials, or store account passwords in the app.
General-Audience App / Minors
Flatulator is a general-audience humor calculator app. It is not designed to require minors to provide personal information, and it is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through app features.
Flatulator does not require accounts, profiles, public posting, social features, location access, camera access, microphone access, contacts access, advertising ID access, or behavioral advertising tracking in the current release.
Users should not submit personal information through support email unless it is necessary for the request. If a parent or guardian believes that a minor provided personal information through a support or privacy email, the parent or guardian may contact inquires@flatulator.com so we can review the request and delete the information where appropriate.
Parents and guardians should use Apple App Store, Google Play, device-account, operating-system, and parental-control settings to manage purchases, subscriptions, backups, device-level data, and app access for minors.
If Flatulator later adds child-directed learning features, user accounts, cloud sync, online profiles, social features, behavioral advertising, analytics, or additional personal-data collection, we will update this Privacy Policy and applicable notice, consent, and compliance practices before using those features where required by law.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when Flatulator changes, when website practices change, when service providers change, when app store requirements change, or when legal requirements change.
When this Privacy Policy changes, we will update the effective date above. Continued use of the app or website after a policy update means the updated policy applies as permitted by law.
